Although contribution systems are widely used in the free software world, at NaN we want to improve it's transparency so all contributions will be accepted only after specifying what will be developed. This way all contribution ends up being a small contract in which the amount and output are written down.

Contributions could be for projects NaN is currently developing, other free software projects or for creating a new one.

All progress made thanks to contributions will be trackable in a public repository, giving maximum openness and speed to the return of the investment.

What about custom projects?

The diference between custom projects developed at NaN and contributions, is that the latter are faster to contract, modifications are public in the given project and are usually cheaper. Think of them as a fast way of adding a clear functionality you need or want to see in a free software application.
