Objective

Make a good use of the information managed by the business' software by showing sales, payments and economical information in general, in numerical and graphical form.

Solution/Task

Mixed system of OLAP cubes and customized reports. OLAP, using Mondrian and JPivot allows the user easily browse information. Also, costumized reports for that information of interest that can't cover a simple OLAP view. In this case the tools used are Open Reports, Jasper Reports and iReport.

Also an automated nightly process, transfers the information from the customer's closed system to a PostgreSQL database.
