We look closely at Industry 4.0

Salicru is a multinational company dedicated to electric power that uses some of the concepts of the so-called industry 4.0, this new intelligent production model that optimizes resources with the extensive application of the technology. The Cluster of Manufacturers of Capital Goods of Catalonia (CEQUIP) organized a visit to its facilities in which we do not hesitate to participate.

In addition to the visit to the facilities that the company has in Santa Maria de Palautordera (Barcelona), the day had more incentives. On the one hand, the new CEQUIP director was presented and, on the other, work proposals of interest to the organizations that are part of the cluster were discussed. The most attractive proposition was on predictive maintenance, carried out by Dainso.

Dainso is a company specialized in big data and artificial intelligence and a NaN-tic partner for projects that require the development of this innovative technology. The proposal was presented by the CEO of Dainso, Antoni Obradó, and included the possibilities offered by technology in the massive collection of data from a company, and how these can then be used to design predictive maintenance models that reduce errors, problems, risks, and expenses to manufacturers of goods.

At NaN-tic we firmly believe in technology as an instrument to optimize the management model that the managers of each company have thought and developed. Because we defend that technology is to adapt to the way companies do, and not the other way around.

And, of course, we also recommend intensive data analysis to improve business decision-making. In this sense, we offer the possibility of integrating to Tryton a solution that allows visualizing key data for business management. In this way, we convert the data contained in the ERP or from any other source into very valuable information for decision-making.
