We have decided to support the 6th Congress of Journalists of Catalonia, held in Barcelona, with a programme featuring highly relevant speakers. NaN-tic, together with La Caixa, Torres and Derby Hotels, is one of the four sponsors of this important event.

Why are we doing it?

Although our business focuses on organisations, especially companies seeking efficient resource management, the Congress of Journalists stands for values with which we fully identify: freedom and transparency. These two essential concepts in journalism are also part of our identity. Our services for companies are always based on free and open technologies, as well as on reliability, as the press should be. The Congress programme also includes talks about technology, productivity and the new business models emerging in journalism.

The 6th Congress of Journalists of Catalonia, sponsored by NaN-tic, will take place on 11 November at Palau Macaya in Barcelona. Speakers include Carles Puigdemont, President of the Government of Catalonia; the prestigious columnist Dan Gillmor; presenter Andreu Buenafuente; media directors Esther Vera (Diari ARA), Màrius Carol (La Vanguardia) and Enric Hernández (El Periódico de Catalunya); and journalists Mònica Terribas, Vicent Partal, Carles Prats and Neus Bonet.
