Helping businesses together

Marc Redorta May 10, 2017

We like to collaborate. No secret. Indeed, the first requirement for an open source technology to succeed is that as many people as possible contribute to make it better. That is why we are very pleased to have been able to re-issue our "Definitive Guide to choose your management software" with the collaboration of the municipality of Molins de Rei and Localret.

City council of this town of the Baix Llobregat considered that the content included in our guide could be highly interesting for the local companies, and it raised us the possibility of making a joint and personalized edition. The project still grew when Localret, the consortium that groups more than 800 municipalities in the country to provide services and advice in the technological area in its municipalities, wanted to join the initiative to be able to make customized editions in other cities that have a relevant amount of business activity.

This publication explains how to face a process of acquiring a technological management tool that requires a significant investment, detailing what are the most common mistakes and what to do not to commit them. The content was presented at an event in Molins de Rei where, in addition to the representatives of NaN-tic, we had the presence of the mayor of the municipality, Joan Ramon Casals, and of the general director of Localret, Xavier FuriĆ³, who was professionally linked for years to the ERP sector and business management tools.

The guide has been sent in digital format to all business in Molins de Rei, and there will also be printed versions in the Office of Attention to Business that will open in the coming days. Since its original publication, this content already accumulates more than 400 downloads.
