Helping businesses, a shared mission

The fact that we like collaborating is no secret. In fact, the first requirement for an open source technology to succeed is for as many people as possible to contribute to its evolution. That is why we are very pleased to have been able to republish our “Definitive Guide to Choosing Your Management Software” with the collaboration of the Molins de Rei Town Council and Localret.

The town council of this Baix Llobregat town considered that the content of our guide could be highly interesting for local business owners, and proposed that we produce a joint, personalised edition. The project grew further when Localret, the consortium that brings together more than 800 town councils across the country to provide technological services and advice to their municipalities, wanted to join the initiative so that personalised editions could be produced for other cities and municipalities with a significant business community.

This publication explains how to approach the procurement of a technological management tool requiring a significant investment, detailing the most common mistakes and what to do to avoid them. The content was presented at an event in Molins de Rei where, alongside NaN-tic representatives, we were joined by the town’s mayor, Joan Ramon Casals, and Localret’s director general, Xavier Furió, who had worked in the ERP and business management software sector for many years.

The guide has been sent in digital format to all business owners in Molins de Rei, and printed versions will also be available at the Business Support Office, which will open in the coming days. Since its original publication, this content has already accumulated more than 400 downloads.
