Nearly a hundred users, CTO and developers of Tryton have gathered in the second edition of the Jornadas Tryton organized by NaN-tic. The program of the conference, held on 23 and 24 October at the Mobile World Center in Barcelona, was divided into two sessions. The objective of the first session was to share the new features that incorporate the latest released versions of this business management tool and, at the same time, present some success stories of companies that are using Tryton to manage their activity from different perspectives. This session aroused the interest of different companies that are thinking about adopt Tryton as a tool for corporate management.
The attendees were able to know firsthand how a major fruit marketing company manage its production and logistics with Tryton. A talk that was later supplemented with a more specific intervention on warehouse management. It also explained the benefits offered by the ERP to companies working on projects and even how you can use Tryton as engine for companies that focuses its activity on selling products from its website. The session was closed Monday with three presentations related to the health sector and, above all, to the traceability and management of laboratories.
On Tuesday developers came into action. After some introductory sessions on Tryton programming and PostgreSQL architecture, some hackathons were organized to foster the development of new functionalities and modules that enhance the program.
In total, about 100 people attended Jornadas Tryton 2017, with participants from all over Spain and even Argentina. The next appointment for the Tryton community will take place in Liege (Belgium). There will be held between 7 and 10 December the tenth edition of the Tryton Unconference.
