Col·legi de Periodistes de Catalunya (CPC) is a professional society created in 1985 which groups more than 3,900 journalists. It was created to guarantee right to free information, the freedom of speech and defend the common interests of the journalists in all kind of media.

Col·legi de Periodistes de Catalunya groups the 50% of catalan professionals with offices in Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, Tarragona and Terres de l’Ebre.

The society offers to its members a wide range of services related to the professional activity: professional advice from legal to financial terms, training, employment and documentation center; as well as benefits and advantages in other fields such as health care and culture, leisure and sport.


The project of implementation of a new ERP became part of an ambitious strategic and communication plan focused on the digital side to rejuvenate the institution and put it as a reference and voice of the Catalan journalists achieving the excellence in its services.

In order to achieve the purpose, ‘Col·legi de Periodistes de Catalunya’ selected NaN·tic to implement and develop the ERP in its infrastructure and adapt it to the needs of the organization in different areas of activity:

  • Unified management of members with personal, professional, type of membership, fees, etc.. A complete form where you can also easily attach all the documents difficult to classify such contracts, certificates and so on.
  • Management of different fee types (junior, senior, retired) and different frequencies (monthly, quarterly or annually) with emission and control of unpaid bills.
  • Development of the functionality needed to manage A training center from communication and inscriptions to the analysis of results and student satisfaction, through the management staff, teaching resources and classrooms, assistance, training programs, certifications, and so on.
  • ERP integration with the website for an easy update of the membership information and obtain information and the inscription on the courses of the training centre.
  • Integration of the membership as users of the document management program of the ‘Centre de Documentació Montserrat Roig’.
