The Fundació Bosch Aymerich has as its motto "Your initiative, our cause", which is a clear declaration of intentions, since they are dedicated to supporting the creation, promotion, and development of activities of general interest, preferably within the territory of Catalonia. Most of the projects they support are within the world of culture, science and sports, architecture, and urbanism. Also of health, of the promotion of the quality of life of the elderly; and the training and/or leisure education of young people.
You can imagine the amount of data and processes that must be managed at the Fundació Bosch Aymerich in order to service the different projects. In addition, how important it has been to be able to do it remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic so that nothing stopped.
A custom-developed management program designed with expert consultants has been one of the keys to the success of the excellent work carried out by the Fundació Bosch Aymerich.
We interviewed Ana Abad (Head of Communication and Support) and Rafael Faus (General Manager) of the Fundació Bosch Aymerich, to explain more about the foundation management solution developed to measure with open-source software de NaN-tic.
We had to keep a manual control with office tools of the requests, documentation, contacts using different tools for each thing (Excel, Outlook, OneDrive) and the information was scattered.
Additionally, it was very difficult for us to obtain statistics of the aid we were granting and access the accounting program, the excel and manually make the data.
It has allowed us in one place to integrate the CRM of clients linking it with the activity of the Board of Trustees and the Foundation Work that we carry out. Now we can scale the aid we can give since in one place we can keep track of ongoing projects, pending payments, documentation, contacts, documentation deadlines and charges.
Additionally, it has also allowed us to automate the entire procedure of granting scholarships and grants through forms where interested parties access via the web and everything enters us in the same tool, and from there, in a single place, we can add and manage it.
They understand the needs very well and transfer them very effectively in easily applicable solutions. Every time an idea of improvement arises, it is very easy to contact our account manager, have different meetings, test environments before the final start-up, etc., both face-to-face and telematic.
Due to our activity, we have not been affected operationally, and the fact of having the NaN-tic tool implemented has been of great help to us to manage all the issues remotely.
Well, little by little to be able to help the different entities without profit to achieve their objectives in an environment where access to financing has been complicated. We do not have a vocation for projection since the real protagonists are the entities we support, which are the ones that do the work. We only try to help where we can, so that they can carry it out in a sustainable way.
